According to the deputy mayor of Újpest SE, there is a gang of cops at the City Hall, some of the employees are unscrupulous; they see when they can go home; they work imprecisely, although they "fucking love to get paid".
Norbert Trippon, deputy mayor of Újpest DK, burst out in a mini-Auszöd speech in front of his fellow politicians, in much the same way as his party boss, Ferenc Gyurcsány, has been doing for more than seventeen years now. We are two days (May 24) before the anniversary of the Öszöd speech (May 26), when the following will be said in front of the representative body:
"It has been proven that the concerned employees of the Office failed to work precisely, accurately and conscientiously"
- with this, Trippon indicated that after the 2023 budget of the district, the final accounts for 2022 were also not submitted to the board without serious errors, for example a HUF 15 billion discrepancy between the assets and liabilities side of the balance sheet. Fidesz faction leader István Nagy drew attention to accounting inaccuracies.
Deputy mayor of Újpest: there is a flock of couples in the town hall
"Nevertheless, I do not wish to hurt them, because I am not in the habit of doing so, and of course I accept the political responsibility. (…) At the same time, I think, Ms. Clerk, that with such work ethic, such inaccuracy and such things, it is no wonder that all our board meetings are about Fidesz's background experts practically nitpicking all, almost all, of the matters that this municipality there is I think the mayor's office should be put in order, and the clerk is responsible for that."
This happened anyway, on May 30, when Trippon fired Andrea Dallos from the clerk's seat. The lawyer you called back to the Újpest City Hall.
Not long after, the Gyurcsányist city manager continued:
"Many times, clerk, there is a lot of clutter, some of the colleagues are unscrupulous, they check when they can go home, they work imprecisely, they send letters out of order, the files are cluttered (sic!) and messy.
Or someone is tidying up, but now you can also tidy up. But after that I will clean up, but it will hurt.”
Trippon: Everyone fucking loves to take a paycheck
The left-wing politician then concluded his speech as follows:
"But here everyone likes to get paid, everyone likes to go home before the end of working hours.
Respect to the exception, to those colleagues who do not have working hours, but a job title. I am asking the clerk to highlight those who work normally, to denigrate those who are not willing to work normally, but finally to bring order to the office, because I am not the employer of the Office, and I alone cannot bring order. And if this blama doesn't warn this municipality about how it works, write it on Mandiner.hu, I'm sorry too."
Here is the first Fidesz reaction to the "truth speech"
The transcript of Norbert Trippon's speech from DK can be found on István Nagy's Facebook page , and the Fidesz politician reacted to the "truth speech" as follows.
Surprisingly, he somewhat agrees with what has been said, because he also thinks there is a gang of people in the Mayor's Office, although he himself has called it chaos so far.
"Let's face it, there is a swarm of cops and chaos in the office."
However, the Fidesz faction leader considers it a serious mistake that Trippon claims that the larger ruling party has turned Újpest into a war zone and is obstructing the work of the district. He believes that the fact that Fidesz in Újpest is talking about a mistake does not mean that the ruling party is starting a war against the left-wing city administration.
And although he agrees with the dismissal of the clerk, the Fidesz Újpestér Egyesület faction sees the reasons quite differently: "Andrea Dallos must leave because he served the dilettante city leaders without thinking, giving his name to illegalities."
Unlawful decrees, resolutions and decisions are made
"Those who, in addition to not understanding, do not even want to acquire the necessary knowledge to carry out their duties," Nagy said on his social media page, "unscrupulously impose everything on the civil servants of the Mayor's Office, the clerk and the Board of Representatives. Unlawful decrees, resolutions, decisions. At the last meeting, the Organizational and Operational Regulations." As an example of the latter, he mentioned that, contrary to the provisions of the self-government law, in his opinion, the representatives can only ask the mayor questions in writing. Therefore, he turned to the Government Office.
It is not the clerk's fault that there is chaos around Tripp
The leader of the ruling party faction believed that the illegal operation was justified by the Government Office's (previous) calls for legality, and there is no doubt that they will prove him right again.
"What Andrea Dallos left without a word, or worse, he even added his name to them! Now he's fired. Although deputy mayor László Perneczky of the LMP and László Czigler of Jobbik have long served for this, deputy mayor Kata Bedő dékás event organizer did not, only because he has no meaningful task! (...) And Tibor Déri, once a momentous mayor, now a déka (or dog party) mayor, doesn't make mistakes just because he hasn't done any work since the beginning," added István Nagy, who summed it up like this:
"The ex-clerk is not responsible for the fact that, according to (pseud) mayor Norbert Dékás Trippon, there is a gang in the office! Yes, to the extent that he allowed politicians, mayors, deputy mayors to fill their offices with people - heads of departments, heads of departments, administrators - who, like them, lack the ability to perform the tasks entrusted to them."
