The iconic location of Margitsziget has expanded its repertoire: the special Budapest block starts every day at 6 p.m.
For the capital's 150th birthday, the repertoire of the musical fountain at the southern tip of Margitsziget has been expanded with new songs related to Budapest; new music can be heard from Wednesday.
In March, it was possible to vote on what music should be heard during the fountain's operation. Based on more than 20,000 votes, along with classical music songs, children's, pop and rock songs, Budapest Bár Nékem only needs Budapest, Animal Cannibals Budapest is much freer in the summer, Wellhello Rakpart, Fábián Juli's Like a Child and George Ezra's Budapest .
Songs for which a spectacular water picture can be programmed could be added to the voting list - in consultation with the contractor.
The music program included the eight songs with the most votes, in addition to George Ezra's song, Guns N' Roses' Sweet Child O' Mine, Coldplay's Paradise, and Andrea Bocelli's aria Time To Say Goodbye were also included. they wanted to hear.
