Tamás Mellár inquired at the Ministry of the Interior about how many kindergarteners in Hungary have undergone gender reassignment surgery in the past five years, and he got the answer.
Bence Rétvári responded to this , the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior stated that
that
"to change from a once conservative-minded citizen to a sarcastic LGBT lobbyist for his representative position and honorarium is a depressing career arc."
The deputy minister continued that child protection is a central issue for the Hungarian government, which must be treated as a priority social issue.
Bence Rétvári stated that the harmful effects of the LGBTQ lobby are felt throughout Europe, the number of children who want to change their gender has doubled in Denmark compared to 2016. He also explained that in Sweden, for example, the number of little girls who consider themselves to be boys has increased by 1,500 percent.
"In Hungary, the left would also give space to LGBTQ propaganda aimed at children"
- remarked the politician of the ruling party, who cited as an example the famous words of the momentous member of parliament András Fekete-Győr, in which the former president of the opposition party said that he would allow transgender people to hold sex education in kindergartens and schools.
