A new, permanent exhibition space has been created in downtown Pest, where Hungarian national politics can be present.

The Magyarság Háza Gallery opened in Budapest with a large-scale portrait photo exhibition of fourteen Kossuth Prize-winning writers, poets, musicians and actors from the Highlands, Subcarpathians, Transylvania, and Vojvodina.

The exhibition venue's proximity to the Parliament, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and St. Stephen's Basilica symbolizes the main core values ​​of the House of Hungarians: patriotism, attachment to science, and attachment to faith - it was announced at the opening of the exhibition.

Krisztina Csibi, the director of Magyarság Háza, said that fourteen foreign Kossuth award-winning artists, including the writer, poet and translator Árpád Tőzsér from the Highlands, will be at the special visual exhibition; László Fábián Vári from Transcarpathia, writer, poet, literary translator, ethnographic researcher from Transcarpathia; the writer and editor István Szilágyi from Transylvania; as well as the large-scale portrait photos of the writer, poet, editor Ottó Tolnai from Vojvodina and the novelist and dramatist, essayist László Végel, also from Vojvodina.

In the Magyarság Háza Gallery, additional accompanying events and chamber-style performances await those interested in connection with the exhibition entitled "Kossuth Prize Winners", said Krisztina Csibi, adding that after the closing of the exhibition at the end of summer, new exhibitions addressing different age groups will be held at the venue every quarter.
