On Thursday, the Republikon Institute organized a conference entitled Hungarians at the border from here and beyond. Two politicians, István Hiller of the MSZP and Zsolt Semjén of the KDNP, also participated in the event.

According to Népszava, the first part of their conversation was about Hungarians across the border , but later the European Union was also discussed.

"Where Hungary's withdrawal, the idea of Huxit, just as a possibility arises, they can count on me as an opponent"

István Hiller stated.

Semjén responded to this by saying that it never occurred to the Prime Minister or the members of the government that Hungary should leave the EU.

According to Zsolt Semjén, this would be an obvious impossibility, contrary to Hungarian national interests.

"We are pro-Europe," said the deputy prime minister.
