The Hungarian Rural 56 Organization and the Stefanovszky House respectfully invite you to the presentation of the two-volume autobiographical work "On the Way to Home - Across Two Continents" by Judith Balogh Petres, writer, teacher, editor of the Képes Magyar Viláhíradó, once published in Cleveland (USA).

June 25, 2023 (Sunday), 4 p.m
Location:
Stefanovszky-house ( Lovas, Fő út 2. ).
Parking is possible in the yard of the former Varjas house, the current Faluház (Fő út 8.).
The author was born in 1933 in a noble family in Hévíz, and his life journey led him to Germany from 1945 and then to the United States of America.
Balogh Petres Judith builds her exciting book full of twists and turns on two main pillars: her unshakable faith in God and her humor that gilds everything.
Even in the midst of the greatest difficulties, he did not lose his faith, and he testifies to this in detail in his book.
As a pedagogue, he not only handed over the prescribed curriculum to several generations, but also led his students to think independently and to approach problems from multiple perspectives, thus also finding optimal solutions.
The volumes will be available for purchase on site at a price of HUF 5,000, and we will pay tribute to the memory of the victims of the communist dictatorship with their presentation.
