The climate policy imposed by the leaders of the global financial circles and the European Union met with marked resistance in an unexpected place: the Swedish government is canceling the Brussels Green Agreement and would solve the secure energy supply of the Scandinavian country by restoring nuclear power plants instead of completely renewable energy sources. Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson also warned other Western nations against blindly obeying the unreasonable requirements contained in the Green Program of the World Economic Forum, Magyar Nemzet .
Sweden is leaving the European Union's forced green program called the Green Deal, which encourages states to switch to renewable energy. According to the report of the German independent specialist portal Blackout News, the Minister of Finance Elisabeth Svantesson warned in the Swedish Parliament in the past few days that the country needs a stable energy system. He explained that
wind and solar power are too unstable to meet Sweden's energy needs. Therefore, the government decided to return to nuclear power,
and abandoned 100 percent renewable energy targets. According to the amended program, a transition to 100 percent non-fossil electricity is necessary.
Announcing the new policy, Svantesson said: “We are creating the preconditions for the transition to nuclear energy. We need more electricity generation, clean electricity and a stable energy system.”
The environmental campaign group Net Zero Watch is satisfied with Sweden's decision. With this move, Sweden indirectly acknowledges the poor quality of unstable wind and solar energy. It also contributes to the general loss of confidence in the renewable energy agenda introduced in the Nordic countries and Germany. According to Net Zero Watch, Sweden can afford to move away from fossil fuels in favor of nuclear power, hydropower and biomass.
Meanwhile, Minister of Finance Svantesson
he also warned other Western nations against blindly obeying the requirements contained in the World Economic Forum's green program. He made it clear that the only way the large industrialized countries can maintain their development and competitiveness is to switch from gas to nuclear energy.
The experts of the German energy portal also argued that the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions is not a really useful objective either at the national level or globally.
The greens would also strangle German industry
The fierce resistance of the Swedes also shows that
even in the West, the leaders of some countries are beginning to see the unsustainability and harmfulness of the unjustified and unreasonable climate policy imposed by globalist organizations.
The German red-green-yellow coalition that came to power after the 2021 elections became the European vanguard of the unrealistic ideas of the aforementioned World Economic Forum and the EU leaders in Brussels. Among the governing parties, the radical left-wing, post-nationalist grouping that calls itself the Greens represents the radical energy transition. Recently, the Green Party Minister of Economy, Robert Habeck, caused a huge uproar in German society by saying that he would ban the installation of oil and gas heating systems from 2024.
The government coalition planned the transition only for 2025 and gradually, and the association of German homeowners asked for the intervention of Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The press called the Greens' bill a "Heat Hammer", which is apt, since it would have devastating consequences, something they expect from the Germans is completely absurd. The economy minister - who is also infamous for previously saying that he is sick of patriotism and has nothing to do with Germany - recently made a statement at the East German Economic Forum in Bad Saarow that shocked the Germans. Habeck warned that the gas transit contracts between Russia and Ukraine will soon expire. He continued: "In an emergency, Germany must stifle or even shut down its own industry in order to help neighboring European countries."
A frontal attack on people's property
It is no coincidence that the popularity of the Greens has been steadily falling in recent months, and they now have only 14 percent of support, while the patriotic right-wing opposition, the AfD, is well ahead of them, with 20 percent of German voters voting for them.
The run amok of Habeck and the Greens was not left unsaid in the Bundestag, Alice Weidel, AfD faction leader, said in her speech: "Mr. Habeck, who purses his lips during the national anthem, sends us a clear signal: his politics do not serve this country or its citizens . The heating law devised by the minister's lobby group is the best proof of this. This law, even with some amendments, represents a frontal attack on citizens' property. They force the energy-intensive production industry to emigrate or become insolvent - but Mr. Habeck cannot deal with this concept either." AfD politicians do all this for a grotesque green ideology that has no connection with reality.
– Because neither the heating law nor the "deindustrialization" of Germany, which is treated as a priority by Habeck, affects global carbon dioxide emissions. Let's not even talk about climate protection! Because otherwise nuclear power plants would have to be built and not shut down , Weidel stressed.
He also spoke about how the green transition does not benefit the citizens, nor does it save the climate or the planet. "But the lobbyists who have this government firmly under their control benefit from this bottom-up redistribution."
They are not environmentalists, they are capitalists
The German right-wing politician was referring to the multinational capitalist interest groups that influence the governments of several countries and the leadership of the European Union. An example of this is the BlackRock Investment Institute, the world's largest financial investment and asset management company, which, together with other global actors, consciously promotes climate policy.
The obvious reason for this lies in the huge profit prospects.
In the fall of 2018, BlackRock announced that its funds focused on "sustainable" investments will increase from $25 billion to $400 billion over the next ten years, until 2028.
At the same time, he expanded into the field of climate policy with profitable consulting deals. After advising the European Central Bank on what securities to buy, the European Commission also signed a consultancy agreement with BlackRock in 2020 to implement the "Green New Deal" in the banking sector. Larry Fink, the head of the financial giant, wrote in his January 2022 newsletter: "We focus on sustainability not because we are environmentalists, but because we are capitalists and fiduciaries of our customers."
Based on the above, it is already more understandable why they want to force the green policy on the states of Europe, which is pointless from an environmental protection point of view and especially harmful from an economic point of view. The move of the Swedish government - which rejects the energy transition that has practically already failed in Germany - justifies the Hungarian energy policy as well. In addition to essential gas and renewable energy, the Orbán government is increasingly relying on the nuclear energy source. Most of the domestic left, on the other hand, follows an irresponsible and pointless policy similar to the German Greens, constantly opposing the Paks II investment, while also blocking Russian gas, which would endanger the country's energy security.
