Hungary will not implement the EU's migration decisions, they will not accept the mandatory quota, and they will not accept the obligation to build "migrant ghettos" or migrant camps, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated on Friday at the Hungarian-Austrian-Serbian migration summit in Vienna.

The Prime Minister put it this way: an effective Hungarian model should be replaced by a new European model that is obviously not working.

Hungary will find a legal and political way to not implement the decisions of Brussels

he declared.

He called the situation sad and said: Hungary must defend itself not only against illegal migrants and human traffickers, but also against Brussels, and it will do so.

Hungarians protect not only Hungary, but all of Europe, including Austria, against illegal immigrants

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán declared.

The Prime Minister said:

last year, a total of 330,000 illegal migrants were stopped along Europe's borders, of which 270,000 were on the Hungarian-Serbian border.

Viktor Orbán put it this way: the Hungarian model - which is effective - is based on a simple idea. No one can enter the territory of the country until their asylum application has been judged. You can come in if there is a positive response to the submitted application, he added.

The EU's asylum system does not work, so Austria, together with Hungary and Serbia, clearly pulled the brake on asylum

Karl Nehammer declared at the Hungarian-Austrian-Serbian migration summit in Vienna.

"We are allies in the fight against illegal migration and we act together against organized crime," the chancellor stated, stressing: "international organized crime can only be effectively dealt with through international cooperation."

"Behind every step of the cooperation, the human goal is to put an end to the increasing number of deaths in the Mediterranean," Nehammer stated. He added: for this, it is essential to introduce asylum procedures in third countries and thereby reduce the pressure on the Western Balkans.

Thanks to the three governments, refugee requests have decreased significantly, and we are ready to continue to cooperate in this way, said Aleksandar Vucic , who said that a tripartite declaration regarding the border situation in North Macedonia was also signed at the summit.
