"If we want to be faithful to the intention of the founding fathers and protect the holy and inviolable idea of Christianity and the European Union, which stands on the soil of sovereign nation-states, and sees its citizens as a goal and not a means, then civil organizations representing civic values and interests - indeed - , as well as unions that do not use employee rights for political gain, but actually protect them (such as UGL), need an even closer cooperation!"

- said the president of EuCET.

As the first and most important step of this, the IV. to be held in November 2023. designated the EuCET conference, in connection with which the organization undertook no less than to bring the most significant conservative civil society organizations and trade unions from all European countries to the negotiating table in order to jointly designate civic strategic goals prior to the European Parliament elections, as well as the possible reform of the EU institutional system with the intention of improving it directions.

Emphasizing the importance of the case, Gian Luigi Ferretti assured the representatives of EuCET of his firm support. The head of UGL's international relations emphasized that the difficult period of the past few years strengthened Italian-Hungarian relations even more.
