the war will drag on because the majority of European leaders do not want peace.

It follows from this that, in order to reduce inflation, we cannot expect that things will recover by themselves with the end of the war, so we must take measures ourselves that will bring about single-digit inflation by the end of the year. According to Viktor Orbán, such a step is, for example, the introduction of the price monitoring system or mandatory food campaigns.

Another important current issue is migration, since Brussels has decided to introduce a migrant quota, the direct consequence of which is that Hungary would have to create migrant ghettos.

"We reviewed what legal and political tools are available to us to prevent Brussels from implementing its plan"

said the Prime Minister.

The third important thing is to prevent the will of the EU to cancel the overhead reduction, but according to the prime minister, Hungarian interests must be enforced, so the government discussed "how they will not cancel the overhead reduction".

Viktor Orbán said that he understands that the Ukrainians feel in a hopeless situation and therefore only see the conflict from their own perspective.

"However, we have to be sane. If we were to do what the Ukrainian president is asking, we would already be in the third world war"

Meanwhile, thousands die in a war raging next door. Therefore, the Hungarian government's position is that an immediate ceasefire and peace negotiations are necessary, he underlined.

If the Americans wanted it, there would be peace tomorrow morning, since Ukraine would no longer be able to continue the war on its own

Viktor Orbán declared. He added: nobody knows why this is not happening, we did not get an answer to this at the NATO summit either.

Viktor Orbán also touched on

According to the Prime Minister, the utility reduction cannot be interpreted solely as an energy issue, it should be understood as the fact that every family receives HUF 181,000 per month, and this must be maintained, he emphasized.

Regarding the migration crisis, the Prime Minister explained that in the past year, 330,000 illegal migrants were arrested at the borders of the EU, of which 260,000 were at the Hungarian border. In the matter of migration, Hungary must rely solely on its own experience, he emphasized, adding that the government must not listen to the "siren sounds" of Brussels.

There is only one solution to the migrant crisis, and that is to not let them into the EU,

only those whose procedure has been completed and received a positive assessment can come - said Viktor Orbán. He emphasized: Hungary built its own model, which they now want to destroy. According to him, Western countries have other ideas, which is why they are not advocating for a solution.

Viktor Orbán also said that, according to Brussels, it is correct that if someone wants to come to Europe, he should be able to move freely in the Union until his refugee application is judged.

Within Hungarian politics, there is a group - the left - that Brussels can order at any time to support Brussels' decisions.
