The Ministry of Agriculture is supporting non-profit social organizations created for the purpose of environmental and nature conservation in the amount of HUF 40 million, it was announced on Friday.
The purpose of the tender is to support the professional work of these organizations and to ensure their participation in the successful implementation of professional programs that match the objectives defined in the National Basic Plan for Nature Conservation and that result from the assumption of certain state tasks.
Eligible activities and achievable goals include the protection and restoration of natural resources and values, as well as ecosystems, preserving the functioning of living communities, and halting the loss of biological diversity
they wrote.
For the 2023 call for tenders, 76 organizations submitted their tender documentation, of which 52 met the criteria of the formal evaluation. Among the applications accepted for content evaluation
23 non-governmental organizations are supported, and they contribute to the achievement of the nature conservation goals set out in the call for tenders by implementing the projects they have developed and submitted.
