The Hungarian Tourism Agency announced that 383 domestic and foreign settlements will participate in the 30th environmental beautification competition with 549 applications.

In addition to the main categories, the organizers of the competition announced a number of thematic awards, of which the floweriest main square has been the most popular for years, they wrote.

When the autumn results are announced, it will also be revealed which settlement can boast the most beautiful tree line or kindergarten garden. A new category is the floral city and village walk, with the support of the Ministry of Construction and Transport

local competitions and flowering initiatives are rewarded.

At the jubilee competition, sustainability was emphasized even more than before. This year, it was already possible to start in the green innovation category, and in addition to advice on beautifying the environment, environmental awareness also appears on the competition's social interfaces.

Conscious green space management is becoming more and more popular among municipalities, and the interest from applicants also indicates that the topic of sustainability is not only important for the organizers

180 horticulturists, landscape architects, town planning engineers, and tourism professionals participate in the evaluation of the tenders, and the category winners will be announced in the fall. In addition to the main prizes, the winners can also receive horticultural rewards and consultation opportunities, and each applicant will also receive a tree seedling, the announcement reads.
