The recklessly designed bicycle lanes are not only causing nightmares for ordinary motorists in the capital: even the ambulances are outraged by what Budapest's first person is doing.

The National Ambulance Service published a short post on its Facebook page about why the Budapest ambulances are annoyed.

They wrote that although they also support safe cycling in the capital, the newly created bicycle lanes make it very difficult for ambulances to move.

According to their claim, the bike lanes created from bus lanes are too narrow for the ambulance to fit safely, and the poles can even make parking difficult at certain locations.

Lifeguards are trying to adapt to the new situation, but this is not always easy, so they ask for the understanding of motorists.
