The scientific journal Magyar Bioetikai Szemle has published Gergely Szilvay's study, A sketch of the critique of gender theory

The NGO CitizenGO puts it this way in relation to the case:

"I am pleased to inform you that Gergely Szilvay's study entitled A sketch of the critique of gender theory has been published in the Hungarian Bioethical Review and is available online

A few months after the editorial members of the Hungarian Psychiatric Association's journal Psychiatria Hungarica, with the assistance of president György Szekeres

the publication of the study was criticized, the scientific journal of the Hungarian Bioethics Society, the Magyar Bioethikai Szemle, gave it space.

In addition to Gergely Szilvay's study, editor-in-chief Zoltán Turgonyi's greeting to readers and M. Csaba Bánki's Gender theory, gender construction, or gender ideology? is part of the recently published Hungarian Bioethical Review, vol. 29. (2023), issue 1.

Together with the 15,840 signatories of our petition, we spoke out against the censorship of Gergely Szilvay's study criticizing gender ideology. We submitted our petition to the Secretariat of the MPT.

I wholeheartedly recommend that you read the valuable articles and spread them as widely as possible.

This is what we can do to ensure that the study, which they tried to silence, reaches its goal. This is what we can do to make the world a little better place!

We thank the Hungarian Society of Bioethics and the editorial board of the Hungarian Bioethics Review for giving space to the important thoughts that we wanted to keep silent and for creating this extraordinary issue."
