Ursula von der Leyen was just brushing up on the situation of the Union when the Swedish Home Affairs Commissioner started knitting. Besz@rás.

It is a surreal sight that while von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, is giving a speech in the EP entitled "The State of the Union", Swedish-born Ylva Johansson takes out two knitting needles and continues the work she has started.

As it turned out, the commissioner is not surprised that he lives his hobby during the meetings. The sender of the video stated in relation to what he saw,

"one can assume a little more professionalism in the biggest speech of the committee chairman of the year".
