HUF 4.3 billion is available this year.
This year, the application system will be renewed in many aspects with the aim of making it more transparent and its results more measurable, the Ministry of Culture and Innovation (KIM) told MTI.
The applications will be made available in several phases, and educational institutions and talent support organizations in Hungary and abroad can submit a total of more than HUF two billion support requests to the calls that have just been published.
Applicants can submit their project plans on a renewed electronic form until October 12.
During the National Talent Program, between 2009 and 2023, the government supported almost 19,000 projects worth about HUF 34 billion. 300,000-350,000 young people can get the opportunity to develop their talents every year thanks to the resources.
This year, more funds will be allocated to the organization of domestic and international study competitions and support for participation, the academic student movement, the START Scholarship program that helps talented young people become entrepreneurs, and the strengthening of the network of Qualified Talent Nurturing Workshops. Applicants for the Scholarship for the Young Talents of the Nation will have the same amount of funds available as last year.
