Philip Rákay and his wife renovated his tomb monument in the National Cemetery on Fiumei út with a private donation.

Last year, Philip Rákay restored the tomb of the Petőfi family as a patron, and now the tomb of János Arany has been restored. The former television presenter and producer reported this to his followers in a Facebook post.

The producer and his wife, Orsolya Wieber, renovated the tombstone of our great poet's family in the National Cemetery on Fiumei Street with a private donation.

Gergely Gulyás, Minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office, said in his celebratory speech:

"Standing in front of the gravestone of the ashes of the most perfect Hungarian poet, we must first of all give thanks for the fact that, thanks to the life work of János Arany, born 206 years ago in Nagyszalonta, many generations were able to get to know the unique beauty of the Hungarian language.

János Arany is a giant with the richest vocabulary, who understands, feels, knows and uses our mother tongue best, and is one of the brightest stars of our impartially rich literature"

Gábor Móczár, the director general of the National Heritage Institute, emphasized that the tomb commemorates not only the poet prince, but also his family: in the tomb, made by Kálmán Gerster with the cooperation of Alajos Stróbl, rests his wife, Julianna Ercsey Julianna, László's son, and his granddaughter, Piroska, in addition to János Arany, who he was the child of his daughter, who died early, reads Origón.
