The Hungarian national football team will play its next European Championship qualifying match in front of a full house, as all tickets for the October 14 group stage against the Serbians were sold out in less than three hours on Friday.

"Due to the previously sold large number of season tickets, the number of tickets that could be purchased for the national team's next home match was lower. Tickets available for purchase were sold by 12:50 p.m.," wrote the Hungarian Federation (MLSZ).

More than 30,000 season tickets were sold for the Hungarian team's four home European qualifiers before the start of the series.

With ten points from four matches played, the team of national team captain Marco Rossi leads the qualifying group ahead of the second-placed Serbs, who also have ten points, thanks to their better goal difference. However, the rival played one match more. In the double round in October, three days later, the Hungarian national team will be the guest of the undefeated hosts Lithuania.
