The lessons of the fourth two-thirds must be learned, and the hysterical, radical and thoughtless opposition politics that characterized the 2022 coalition must be put an end to, emphasized Péter Ungár, co-chairman of the LMP, in the Thursday evening broadcast of the 48 Minutes - Hosted by Tamás Lánczi program. , in which Tamás Lánczi also asked his guest about the upcoming municipal and EP elections, the green policy existing at Gergely Karácsony's level of communication, and the sanctions imposed on Russia.

Tamás Lánczi asked the co-chairman of the LMP, Péter Ungár, about how the opposition is preparing for next year's local government and European Parliament elections.

Péter Ungár emphasized that

the lessons of the fourth two-thirds must be learned.

He stated that the LMP is able to politicize along issues in contrast to the O1G coalition.

"The hysterical, radical and thoughtless opposition politics that characterized the 2022 coalition must end"

- explained the co-chairman of the LMP, who admitted in response to Tamás Lánczi's questions that despite the fact that he is the leader of the party's list in the EP elections, Erzsébet Schmuck will go to Brussels if they cross the five percent threshold and are able to get a representative to the EP.

Tamás Lánczi referred to public opinion polls and indicated that

it is not certain that the LMP will be able to reach 5 percent in the elections.

"Many people consider next year's European Parliament and local government elections - which will be held at the same time - as a kind of rehearsal or primary election for the 2026 parliamentary elections. Whoever fails here, performs poorly, will not even be able to stand at the starting line in 2026," emphasized the host of the show.

"I would be very sad, personally, too, if we could not send a representative to the European Parliament, but we are not focused on 5 percent," responded Ungár, who also explained that they do not want to run together with Párbeszéd, because the LMP is a calm opposition party apostrophes it, but in his opinion a

Dialogue belongs to the radical, hysterical opposition parties.

Regarding Gergelly Karácsony, Tamás Lánczi pointed out that

constantly makes green statements, while it is not visible how the capital has become greener in the last four years,

however, you can see more traffic jams and sloshing, berserk cars.

Péter Ungár cited the hypocritical green policy of the Canadian Prime Minister as an example of this double talk, because Justin Trudeau, when he announced the climate emergency in parliament, authorized the construction of a new gas pipeline the very next day. Regarding Ungár Karácsonny, he explained that according to his judgment, he did things right and things wrong, but currently they do not see any other suitable mayor candidate on the opposition side, but it is even conceivable that the LMP will start the mayor election with its own candidate.

"When the green policy turns into this level of hypocrisy, I also criticize it very much"

- said Péter Ungár, who said that there were green elements in Karácsony's transport policy.

Tamás Lánczi disagreed with this and stated that, in his opinion, Budapest has not become any greener.

"Apart from the intensive use of yellow paint on the asphalt, which was used to paint bicycle paths, I don't really see where greening has happened here"

stated the host.

"Where has there been any greening here?"

- Tamás Lánczi continued the question, to which his guest gave an evasive answer, saying that it was not his duty to defend Karácsony's measures.

A heated debate unfolded about the EU's sanctions against Russia, and among other things, the program also talked about the Ferencváros bench, which sometimes shone in the favorite colors of Fradi fans and LGBTQ activists.
