In recent years, the living conditions of our population have been negatively affected by inflationary increases in food prices. At the same time, the workers' wages did not follow the unjustified increase in prices in many cases. The families of the workers experienced the COVID epidemic and then the inflation due to the Russian-Ukrainian war in difficult circumstances. CÖF-CÖKA decided to expand its activities with regard to Hungarian employees.
Our work in the public interest is aimed at cooperation with actors in the food wholesale and retail trade, primarily in store chains, on the basis of common interests. In recent years, the companies mentioned have rapidly expanded the number of their stores with their profits. Investing in Hungary is worth it!
In many cases, the employees and their families felt that the profitable operation of the companies did not reflect the appreciation of their performance.
The smallest economic organizations in the state, the families, endured a decrease in real wages in addition to the fact of the inflationary increase in food prices. In many cases, the trade unions representing employees followed the traditions of Kádár, and their effectiveness became questionable. Even today, many trade union leaders carry out party missions, many of them maintain contact with company management by realizing individual advantages.
CÖF-CÖKA wishes to bring the representation of the interests of employees and their families to a wider social base, which is also expressed in its created slogan: "We row in one boat!".
After preparatory negotiations, we consider ourselves partners and conclude a contract with the Egyenlő.hu trade union, which represents workers and their families who follow the Christian-national path and belongs to the National Association of Workers' Councils.
Our joint activity is aimed at recruiting non-union members and collecting membership fees.

We strive to preserve peace at work and protect the interests of families. We take it for granted that this is equally important for those "rowing in the same boat".
The first step in our operation is the establishment of the "Quality Committee",
which radiates a familiar environment during its activities by maintaining workplace peace and the common satisfaction of the actors.
In addition to the "rowers in the same boat", the Committee also includes the designated employee of the interest protection organization Egyenlő.hu and CÖF-CÖKA.
We will recommend, in line with the improvement of the economic situation, the introduction of the special tax imposed on multinational companies, which will lead to such a result that the participation of "rowers in the same boat" will generate consensus and satisfaction among the participants.
Among other things, the companies undertake the simultaneous proportional wage increases resulting from the tax reduction.
In addition, we strive to recognize the contribution of employees in addition to the increasing profits of companies, so-called
a "profit ticket" should be introduced.
We are proposing a government decree in order to give multi-companies working in food retail the opportunity to give their employees the opportunity to buy locally once a month, in a controlled manner, at purchase prices of HUF 50-100,000.
