Good, but for whom?

On Tuesday evening, Ferenc Gyurcsány, the president of the Democratic Coalition (DK), was a guest of ATV's Straight Talk program. Ferenc Gyurcsány revealed what the party is preparing for during the fall.

According to the party chairman, Hungary has not achieved anything under Fidesz's government, so a change of government is necessary: according to him, the country needs a social democratic government.

We need Klara Dobrev

- said Ferenc Gyurcsány.

The President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo stated that it is important for him that people understand what they are talking about, but he does not care what his political opponents think about him.

Regarding the fact that their program was entitled "home takes care of you", he said that in his opinion, the prime minister in Hungary does not look after the people, but rather his own power.

"It takes the country into fights from which the country cannot come out victorious, only the preservation of the power of the Prime Minister" follows from it

- He told.

Gyurcsány believes that "the fact that we are the state must be taken seriously, what happens to people must be taken into account."

The party chairman stated that the DK wants to talk to the people about how they can create a much better state.

When asked if he was preparing for government, he replied,

of course, we are politicians because we are preparing to take over the government sooner or later."

In relation to the fact that he previously stated that it was necessary to prepare for 20 years, he now said: he is not talking about wanting to stay in power until then, but about how long it will take to fix what Fidesz "ruined".

According to him, it is only possible to roughly know "what role Ferenc Gyurcsány will play in this".

This will not be a governmental role

he added.

To Egon Rónai's suggestion that the "redistribution of common wealth" as a program item is a rather communist idea, Ferenc Gyurcsány replied that the country also has a "common income", and in this regard it is necessary to look at who gets how much, because in his opinion the companies today more than 70 percent of this income is "taken home" and people less than 30 percent. According to Ferenc Gyurcsány of DK, one

wants to create a fair system".

According to him, the richer and poorer strata should be brought closer together.

He then went on to say that the state should not invest the money in battery factories, but in schools and culture. He added that "the government is now making an assembly plant out of Hungary".

When asked about the election of the mayor, he said that

whether Gergely Karácsony will be supported next year was not yet on the agenda.

This question is still a long way off, he added. But, as he put it, "they will not disappoint" and "they will inform everyone about this in a very fair and timely manner." Regarding whether there will be "a price" for siding with Gergely Karácsony, Gyurcsány stated that

this is not a matter of this type of negotiation.

This is more than a personal issue, he said. He also added that he spoke with the mayor during the day.
