It is an extremely positive step and exceptionally good news for all parents and health professionals that the government is considering banning energy drinks for young people under the age of 18, wrote the Young Families Club (Ficsak) in a statement.

This initiative not only protects the health of the young generation, but also sends a clear message to society about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, the announcement states.

The organization drew attention to the fact that the "extremely high caffeine and sugar content of energy drinks can pose a serious threat to the younger generation". Thus, they remain committed to limiting access to these products.

It is a high priority for Ficsak that the purchase of energy drinks should only be possible for people over 18 years of age, for example through sales only in tobacco shops.

Ficsak is committed to supporting all measures that serve the well-being and safety of children and young people, the communiqué states.

The announcement reminds us that over the years, the Ficsak organization has carried out several successful campaigns for healthy nutrition and conscious parenting behavior, including the fight for healthy school canteens.

Thanks to the joint efforts of parents and Ficsak, many products harmful to children's health have been removed from the schools' offer.
