Are the last prime minister of the socialists and the fallen president of Momentum waiting for redemption from each other?
On Monday morning, former Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai and András Fekete-Győr, former president of Momentum, held a meeting in a cafe. Magyar Nemzet wanted to find out from them whether DatAdat will help Momentum in the local government or EP elections, but both of them got quite nervous about the questions.
Approaching the elections, it seems that Gordon Bajnai has become active again. The press previously reported that the greater part of the more than four billion forints coming to the opposition from abroad, and the entire half billion from the mysterious source of the Karácsony 99 Movement, ended up with DatAdat, which is linked to Gordon Bajnai. The 2022 campaign of the left was practically conducted by DatAdat.
F.Gy.A.: I don't know what kind of Data you are talking about.
R.: Not familiar with DatData?
F.Gy.A.: I have already heard about DatAdat.
This is how András Fekete-Győr responded to the Hungarian Nation's question as to whether DatAdat will help Momentum's work. However, the fallen president of the party refused to say anything more, so he did not reveal the details of the meeting.
"You are pathetic. It's pathetic what they're doing." – and this was already said by Gordon Bajnai in response to the questions.
The former prime minister also did not answer anything substantive, saying instead that he had won a lot of press lawsuits. In defense, he talked about the fact that the press is constantly lying about his role.
Tamás Dávid Heiter wanted to ask Bajnai about the foreign money and its fate, but at this point he closed the door on the reporter.
