The most popular scientific and educational program of the 70s is coming back. The new parts of Delta can be seen on the Danube from October 21. Host Ádám Fejős looks for answers to the questions of the world around us with renowned scientists, artists and well-known people. The unique visuals of the broadcasts are provided by the virtual studio.

Almost 60 years after its first broadcast, one of the oldest scientific and educational programs of the public media returns to the Danube. The viewers could see the first part of Delta on January 31, 1964, and the iconic music and images of its main title were etched in the memory of several generations.

The Saturday broadcasts are based on a key concept such as "family", "tastes", "rhythms" or "power".

Ádám Fejős, public media meteorologist, natural scientist, musician, with well-known artists and expert guests, looks for the answers to the everyday questions that determine our physical and emotional existence and influence our everyday life, colored by entertaining scenes. The host was a big fan of Delta as a child.

"It's an uplifting feeling to be a part of the revival of the cult show. Its uniqueness is not only the way of presenting the world around us and the range of topics, but also the unique visuals and visual tricks, all of which can be an additional attraction for young people. I sincerely hope that the renewed Delta will be able to get the whole family to sit down in front of the television, because it promises meaningful entertainment regardless of age."

said the presenter. Ádám Fejős added that he really enjoyed playing a role in illustrating the themes, and was able to play the role of James Bond and Miklós Toldi, among others, but it also happened that he ran away from a T-Rex in one of the episodes.

Among other things, the public media meteorologist answers the question of whether weather forecasting is actually science or divination, as well as flashes his musician self when he plays the heartbeat of an elephant and a mouse with a drum.

The program proves that everything in our world is connected to everything else: it connects representatives of different fields of science, arts, and professions by means of keywords. In the broadcasts, representatives of different professions - physicist, astronomer, assistant bishop, game developer or photojournalist, cyber security expert, historian, safe restorer - meet, but they are connected by one concept.

Delta continues to provide viewers with astonishing information.

It is revealed, for example, who was "little Balázs" in Attila József's Lullaby, and whether he finally got the distance like a glass ball, as well as how rhythms influence music, religion and the functioning of our bodies, and with the help of a piece of music they can learn the regular resuscitation. They can find out what Newton did in the "home office" and also whether it really depends on luck which side of the coin lands in the game of heads or letters.

As a pioneer of domestic television, the series switched to color technology among the first programs.

The visual world of the renewed Delta is also significantly different from everything before:

in each episode, animations, graphics and various extra content created with special technology are displayed, demonstrating the versatile possibilities of the virtual studio.
