At the Karmelita monastery during the summer, protestors consisting of opposition politicians and students tried to dismantle and damage the cordons surrounding the monastery almost on a daily basis. Ákos Hadházy, an independent member of parliament, also participated in the actions on several occasions, against whom proceedings were initiated not only for breaking the cordon, but also for organizing the demonstrations.

The police fined Sándor Pintér a total of HUF 300,000 because the authorities "found" that I was the organizer of the cordon-breaking in the castle on three occasions.

- the representative commented on the punishment on his social media page.

According to the representative, the authorities deduced from his visibility vest that he was the organizer of the movement, which he denies.
