As part of the "Remembrance Day of the 1956 Revolution and Freedom Struggle" on Monday, the Parliament and the House of Terror Museum will welcome visitors with several exhibitions, there will be light painting, candle lighting, and a non-protocol commemoration at plot 301.

The program of the "Freedom Day" in the capital will start on October 23 at Kossuth Lajos tér with a ceremonial flag raising - according to the oktober23.kormany.hu website.

On Mondays, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., as part of the "Visit of the Holy Crown to the Parliament", those interested can see the Dészlépcőház, the Dome Hall, the Holy Crown, and the exhibitions of the Parliament Museum: "A Thousand Years of Hungarian Legislation" accessible from the Visitor Center, on Kossuth Square the In memoriam October 25, 1956 memorial site and exhibition, as well as the Kőtára and the Csepel truck, also exhibited on Kossuth Square.

There will be an all-day protocol-free commemoration at plot 301.

Between 4pm and 11pm, Light Painting will take place at several locations, such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, Budapest University of Technology building K, and the Terror House Museum.

The House of Terror Museum can be visited for free (between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.), and there will be an all-day protocol-free candle lighting ceremony at the Wall of Heroes.

In addition to the museum's permanent exhibition, visitors can view the new temporary exhibition entitled "A great crime requires a great idea" of the works of visual artist and painter Sam Havadtoy.
