According to the information, the CinÉast film festival in Luxembourg was held for the 16th time between October 5 and 22, which annually presents new features, documentaries, shorts and animation films from Central European contemporary cinema, this time from 21 countries. Bernáth Szilárd's first feature film, Larry, has previously won numerous awards at home and abroad, and it received the Young Talents award from the international jury of the Luxembourg Film Review on Saturday night.

Addressing young people, Larry tells the story of 21-year-old Ádám, who works as a shepherd, and lives in isolation with his violent father in a village in Borsod because of his stutter.

After realizing that he can express his inner anger and frustration with the help of rap music, his friends enter him in a talent competition, but as the live performance approaches, Ádám must not only overcome his stutter, but also take control of his own life.

The film had its world premiere at the Tallinn Black Nights A-category festival in 2022, and then won the awards for best first film and best youth film at the Cottbus film festival, as well as the Film Critics Award at Skopje Cinedays. For his portrayal of the main character Vilmányi Benett, he won the best actor award at the Riviera International Film Festival, and Thuróczy Szabolcs, who played the father, won the Hungarian Motion Picture Award for the best supporting actor actor.
