It is a contemporary symptom of the entire West that thoughtless politicians have come and are proud of the fact that they do not have a single thought. And they want to challenge Orbán and Fidesz.

What I am writing now has no political significance. Especially because the people I'm writing about don't have it either.

I have been interested in the Momentum phenomenon for some time:

more specifically, how is it possible that there are and can be potential voters for a movement that is empty and nothing?

I believe that we are witnessing a reverse history of development.

At the beginning of Momentum, you could see a lot of things in this movement, because from afar it seemed that they had invented something that succeeded and how it succeeded, that's why they were successful. I am talking about the campaign against the Olympics, which was essentially a destructive, destructive political action against great aspirations, so paradoxically, they were built by the destruction that went against great dreams. This was the first stage: the devastating debut.

By destroying, they built.

Then came the period of self-destruction. András Fekete-Győr's pole vault. The man whom the left-wing press wanted to believe was like the young Viktor Orbán, and Momentum is the Fidesz of the early '90s. Even then I thought it was a fatal strategic mistake:

As for who is the real Orbán, the real Orbán will obviously win that competition.

Of course, the intention was understandable, a powerful, young generation took to the field, a new Fidesz, led by the young Orbán, they will defeat the old Fidesz and the aging Orbán - this was the essence of the statement.

Then it turned out that if there is an unbridgeable distance between the statement (let's call it a lie) and the reality (actual abilities), then the whole construction will collapse on you. And he really fell for it. It all fell on poor András Fekete-Győr. About whom it slowly became clear to everyone that he had nothing on his mind. Which is particularly puzzling because it was this generational movement that claimed to be the globe-trotting, multilingual, smart, intelligent new elite.

We thought that this was the bottom, there is no lower than this.

The stage of self-destructive destruction of illusions fused with the name of Fekete-Győr is a path that cannot be continued. However, seeing the current version of Momentum, we have to admit that thinking this was a huge mistake.

It is below. It's always lower.

This is how we get to the present.

This is nothing. There is no one and there is nothing. Nobody thinks anything. The mouths open, but the spoken words and sentences have no meaning.

Now it can really be said that we have reached the point: from destruction to nothing. Momentum, contrary to its self-interpretation, is actually an anti-intellectualist movement: the antithesis of common sense, reason, and political knowledge. In that sense, of course, it is a sign of age. It is a contemporary symptom of the entire West that thoughtless politicians have come and are proud of the fact that they do not have a single thought. And they want to challenge Orbán and Fidesz.

What arrogance.

The point was guessed that one can only confront a thought with a thought. That is why they invented the lie about themselves that they are intellectuals and have thoughts. To this day, this is what the left-wing press, which turns them into their handmaidens, builds about them. This press manages nothing and tries to sell that it is already something. This press manages that they are the second strongest opposition force. This press manages it as if they were politicians with ideas. What an eyesore.

They know it, we know it too.

Hocus pocus doesn't work.
