On Friday and Saturday, Budapest was the site of European Union civil cooperation: the fourth conference of the European Union Civil Cooperation Council, EuCET, was held here with the participation of 18 countries, which was discussed by László Csizmadia, president of CÖF-CÖKA, on Kossuth Rádió's Sunday News program.

The organization was founded by the Polish Gazeta Polska clubs and the Hungarian CÖF-CÖKA in 2017 with the aim of representing the Europe of nations against the idea of a federal Europe, promoting the preservation of the continent's Christian cultural heritage, nurturing its traditions, and preserving the sovereignties of nation-states. As it states in its ars poetica: by strengthening the moral base, EuCET wants to redirect the union back to the original ideas of the founders and the big-format politicians who shaped the community in the past decades.

László Csizmadia, the founding president of EUCet, said in an interview with Kossuth Rádió's Vasárnapi Újság program about the conference: more than two hundred intellectual defenders of the country took part in the conference.

"At the conference, a decision was made that we will also adopt a legal entity, as this is how we will be able to effectively represent citizens' initiatives to the EU internationally," László Csizmadia pointed out.

The president of the CÖF-CÖKA also said that the workers are members of the civil world with the same value as other intellectual defenders of the country, therefore the workers must be given civil background support, which could even be at the European level. The CÖF's initiative that the chain stores provide their employees with a day off on December 24, the day of Christmas Eve, has already brought significant results, as many companies have joined the motion, and this proves that the employees need the support of the forum.

The full interview can be heard here between 07:40:08 and 07:50:50.
