The sale of cars left behind by people smugglers cleans up the Homokhátság from the waste left behind by illegal migration, János Nagy, the state secretary in charge of the Prime Minister's Program Office, showed in a Facebook video shared on Monday.

Discarded bags, sleeping bags, cyber-attacked cars - this is the sight that greeted János Nagy on the autumn Blue Tour in the Áshotthalom area, who also shared heartwarming pictures of the situation at the border crossing. As he explained, the forest was especially disfigured by the burnt, unusable car wrecks left behind by human traffickers.

This is also worrying from an environmental point of view, but it clearly shows the pressure the southern border is under.

At the same time, the state secretary highlighted in the video that on the initiative of Béla Mihályfi, the region's parliamentarian

a government decree was issued to eliminate the unsanitary conditions, and last week the cleaning of the Sandhills began with the removal of 52 vehicles.

I am confident that this way the unsightly wrecks in our forests will disappear - he said, adding that participation in the national consultation strengthens the government in the fight against illegal migration, which is why participation in it is important.
