The budget control committee has completed its new report, they did not cause any surprise, they do not want to hand over EU funds to Hungary, writes the Mandiner.

The Committee on Budgetary Control (CBC) has adopted its annual anti-fraud report for 2022, in which it evaluates the efforts made to fight fraud in the EU and ways to better protect EU funds, the European Parliament's report reads.

The board is sounding the alarm about the European Commission's announced plan to pay Hungary the 6.3 billion euros suspended from the Recovery Fund (RFF) in exchange for the approval of the support provided to Ukraine.

"The suspended funds may only be disbursed to Hungary if the corrective measures adopted by the Hungarian government have proven to be effective in practice"
