The mandate of the new presidency is five years.

The Hungarian Theater Society (MTT) has once again elected Attilá Vidnyánszky, the general manager of the National Theatre, as its president, the organization announced to MTI on Tuesday.

At the autumn renovation general meeting held in the Eiffel Workshop of the Hungarian State Opera, Gábor Bakos Kiss, director of the Győr National Theatre, Péter Fekete, director of the National Circus Arts Center, Márko Kis Domonkos, director of the Déryné Program, and András Pataki, artistic director of the Kecskemét National Theater, were appointed vice presidents. and Ágnes Szabó, director of the Gyula Gózon Chamber Theatre, were elected.

The mandate of the new presidency is for five years, they wrote in the announcement. At the event, it was decided to admit a new member, the Budapest Puppet Theatre, so the association now has 88 members.

At the meeting, László Szabó, secretary of the MTT, presented the organization's work over the past five years, and they also consulted on issues such as the financing of private theaters or the organization of the National Theater Meeting, the announcement reads.
