According to the rock musician, America always pretends to be our friend while ordering us around.

We have been stuck between the Soviet and American boots in our modern history, but now the "Soviet" is threatening us from the West, he said in an interview with Magyar Nemzet.

Feró Nagy is preparing for the 45th anniversary concert of Beatrice, but political topics also came up in the interview.

About the United States, he said that he thought

"America is a great power that always pretends to be our friend, but at the same time commands us."

He also added that

David Pressman, the American ambassador in Budapest, openly provokes our country.

"I'm not homophobic, but what do I have to do with your personal life?" - he said in relation to the fact that he is bothered when the ambassador announces that he is gay and his partner is a man.

According to the rock musician, the world's big lie is that the Western form of democracy is presented as the only possible truth.

"For me, it's not democracy if they "beat me in the face" because I say something they don't like"

he added.

He also talked about the fact that we are against the system now because we are against the European Union. Rock music has always been politicized.

Whoever plays the independent is usually left-wing."

He also expressed his opinion about today's Hungarian political system, according to him, after the system change, it was actually necessary to wait until the 2010s to "really say everything". Feró Nagy sees that the real regime change is taking place now, and this is also very visible in the cultural life.
