The Hangman's Rope is Sándor Petőfi's only novel, which he wrote in 1846 in his parents' inn in Salkaszentmárton.

In the novel, a seventy-year-old elder, Máté Andorlaki, tells the story of his life, in which love, hatred, revenge and bloody twists can all be found. The volume changed hands for HUF 700,000.

Antonio Bonfini's Historia Pannonica sold for HUF 191,000 at the auction. Commissioned by King Mátyás Bonfini, in 1488 he began writing the historical work originally titled Rerum Hungaricum decades [Decades of Hungarian History], the main thread of which was the Thuróczy Chronicle.

The Italian humanist worked on the work for almost a decade, until 1497, which determined the perception of the Hungarian past for centuries. The Cologne edition that has now surfaced was published in 1690.

The autographed first edition of István Fekete's 1965 book Vuk, as well as the 1944 edition of Csí and István Csukás's book Oriza-Triznyák – From the Adventures of Mirr-Murr also performed well at the auction. The latter changed hands for HUF 42,000.
