The football team of Ferencváros will meet the Greek Olimpiakos in the first round of the straight elimination stage of the Conference League, the defending Hungarian champion will start the duel for reaching the round of 16 away from home on February 15.

At the draw held on Monday at the headquarters of the European Union (UEFA) in Nyon, it was also announced that the second leg will be held on February 22 at the Groupama Arena.

Ferencváros finished second in Group F, while its Greek opponent moved to the Conference League as third place in Group A of the Europa League.

In the first round of the straight elimination stage, reaching the round of 16 is at stake, in the Europa League, next to the third-placed teams in the Europa League, the second team from the Kl group was drawn, and the latter were the favorites, i.e. these teams can play the second leg at home. Clubs from the same country could not meet.

The Swiss Servette, which also employs the Hungarian national team player Bolla Bendegúz, has the Bulgarian Ludogorets as its opponent, but the duel between the Belgian Saint-Gilloise and the German Eintracht Frankfurt, as well as the battle between the Spanish Real Betis and the Croatian Dinamo Zagreb promises to be interesting.

The winners of the duels will be among the top 16 opponents from among the Kl group winners in the draw to be held on February 23.

The final of the Conference League will be played on May 29 in Athens.
