What happened in Poland goes against the European spirit that Donald Tusk promoted years ago as President of the European Council.
The "cleansing" taking place in Polish public television is illegal - this is what constitutional lawyer Zoltán Lomnici Jr., consultant of the Századvég Foundation, spoke about on the News of the current channel M1 on Friday afternoon.
Polish legal regulations are clear,
the quick removal of the managers of the Polish public television could not have been carried out by a parliamentary resolution,
a higher-level legislation or law should have been amended, which is thus unconstitutional. The President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda also spoke about a constitutional crisis in connection with what happened, the constitutional lawyer emphasized.
He added: what happened with the Polish public media shows that the new Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has embraced the plans of the Hungarian left before the 2022 elections, according to which the rule of law and constitutionalism will be suspended in case of victory.
According to analysts, Donald Tusk is carrying out the interests of the leaders of the American Democratic Party, the open society foundations of György Soros and Brussels.
And when, from the point of view of Poland, he puts these external interests before the interests of the Polish people, Polish sovereignty is violated, explained the specialist.
Zoltán Lomnici Jr. also pointed out that what happened in Poland

furthermore, it proves that the Brussels bureaucrats do not take the law seriously, they make it a "handmaiden of politics" and subordinate it to their political interests.
