It has been a tradition in Tiszaalpár for many years that the municipality organizes a charity lunch before Christmas, with the cooperation of local entrepreneurs and the representative body, to which the whole village is invited.

At the lunch on December 23, the food could be eaten on the spot, or it was also possible to take it away, but those coming to the lunch had to take care of the necessary dishes themselves. The tasty mutton bean goulash was cooked by the staff of Tiszaalpár Nagyközség Kitchen and then distributed by dr. With the participation of deputy mayor Tibor Csernus and entrepreneur Sándor Barna.
Of course, the food was accompanied by a smaller package, in which a few slices of bread, oranges and brown sugar were flattened thanks to the donors.
The event in Tiszaalpár, which welcomes everyone, is also a good example because it does not stigmatize the needy or the elderly: anyone can go there without feeling ashamed, since the whole village is waiting.
