"How can you endure this? I'm trying. It wouldn't be possible without you. Only the love of God and people can make the unbearable bearable," writes Dávid Sipos's mother in her Facebook post. The victim of the tragedy at the student dormitory in Székelyudvarhely, which occurred last week on Monday, was laid to rest in his home village, Farkaslaka, on Thursday.
In a poignant Facebook post, the mother of 17-year-old Dávid Sipos, who died in the partial collapse of the boarding house at the Tamási Áron High School in Székelyudvarhely, reported on the pain of a mother who has lost her child.
"I'm trying to express my gratitude that you were and are by my side during this most difficult time, that you came, that you brought flowers, that you cried with me. I felt, I feel the love flowing towards me, with which you hugged me, hugged me"
- writes the shaken, grieving mother, who asks the question to which only she can now give the right answer:
"How can you endure this? I'm trying. It wouldn't be possible without you. Only the love of God and people can make the unbearable bearable."
At the same time, she gives thanks for being the mother of Dávid, this "wonderful creature" for almost 18 years, and that the Good Lord also entrusted her with a daughter, whom she must continue to take care of.
The mother who lost her child continues her Facebook post as follows:
"I am not accusing anyone. Knowing, no one meant harm. Please don't blame yourself. Many have failed, but their conscience is enough for them to reckon with. Not only do I want to turn back the wheel of time, so do they, and they would stand by me, just like you, to keep the wall, but we can't. There is only now! Just love me, because only love matters in life!"
He added that he trusts that, as a result of this tragic event, others will start to pay more attention to their work and take a responsible view of its possible consequences, but above all, he trusts that, as a result of the tragedy, people will value and love their children, their families, and their fellow human beings more.
"I still don't know how to live with this eternal lack. I can't express in words what I really feel"
Dávid Sipos's mother writes.
As is known, on the afternoon of December 18, one of the walls of the dormitory building of Tamási Áron High School in Székelyudvarhely collapsed. Four students were trapped in the rubble. Two young people were conscious when they were rescued. The two girls were transported to the Székelyudvarhely hospital. They were able to leave the hospital last week.
The third rescued 17-year-old girl was pulled out of the rubble in an unconscious state and revived, but her condition is very serious due to her broken spine and other injuries. Due to his injuries, he was taken to the emergency hospital in Marosvásárhely, where he has been intubated and in an artificial coma ever since.
The life of Dávid Sipos, who was the fourth to be rescued about three hours after the collapse, could no longer be saved. The 17-year-old was a student at the Imre Palló Art Lyceum. He was laid to rest in Farkaslaka on Thursday.
