In his Facebook post, the Prime Minister emphasized that 2023 was a year of great struggles, and 2024 will be a year of great plans.
"It's a fairly common opinion here in Hungary that the bureaucrats in Brussels live in a bubble, and that's why Brussels is blind, it doesn't see real life, it's detached from the problems that people are struggling with not only in Hungary, but all over Europe," says Viktor Orbán. The Prime Minister emphasized that 2023 was a year of great struggles, and 2024 will be a year of great plans.
According to the prime minister, the aim of the 2024 elections is to "open the eyes of Brussels, to see the reality and to be able to correct the mistakes it made in 2023".
