The Rex Kutyaotthon Alapítvány is organizing a charity concert entitled The Heroic Age of Hungarian Beat Music on February 2 at the UP Rendezvénytér in Újpest. The entire proceeds of the concert will be used for the finishing works of the House of Responsible Animal Husbandry, which is currently under construction.

Zoltán Pomázi, the singer of the former Tolcsvay Trió and the currently active Bojtorján band, recalls the 60s, 70s and 80s of Hungarian beat music in his charity show organized in aid of Rex Kutyaotthon Foundation The well-known Illés, Fonograph, Tolcsvay and Bojtorján songs will be performed at the concert.

In the event entitled "Heroes of Hungarian beat music", Edina Schaffer, former backing singer of Neoton Família, currently a member of Új Bojtorján, plays violin, mandolin and guitar, as well as sings, and Miklós Zboray, member of Napoleon Boulevard, participates in the production on a twelve-string guitar.

The performance is also colored by some contemporary documents, in the form of contemporary radio and television news and archive audio recordings, providing a historical background to the songs performed in the program.

In the announcement of the foundation, he emphasized that the only long-term solution to the many problems of animal protection can be a change of attitude towards animals. The soon-to-be-built House of Responsible Animal Husbandry on Rex Animal Island will play a pioneering role in this mission, but the full implementation of the investment is unthinkable without social cooperation. Up to a hundred thousand visitors can visit the experience-oriented educational facility, which opened this year. This is where the country's first thematic interactive exhibition presenting knowledge about species and animal husbandry will take place, as well as numerous educational programs presenting individual animal species.
