Ukraine has started selling "old man masks" online, which sellers say can protect men of military age from being summoned in public.
was written by the Ukrainian newspaper called Strana, which is banned in both Russia and Ukraine .
The site also published screenshots in its article, which show that they charge 13,600 hryvnias, i.e. HUF 130,000, for "professional masks."
the released videos of the mask being placed on a person, it appears to be quite realistic. The only thing that is not perfect about it is the contour around the eyes. To hide the error, in one of the ads, the seller used tinted glasses together with the mask.
It is not possible to determine whether the video in the original article was actually made in Ukraine, or whether the screenshots are real, but the authenticity of the source is confirmed by the fact that Strana was one of the most recognized and popular newspapers in Ukraine, while the National Security Council 2021 (for the first time in Ukraine) did not ban it, and in 2022 the Russian Technology, Communication and Information Supervision did the same after the outbreak of the war.
