Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who has been in power for a month, gave a TV interview, and the first question was about the former interior minister and his deputy, who were sentenced to prison.

Tusk stated that these are people who have been legally convicted of serious crimes, reports hvg.hu.

According to him, it is not clear why the President of the Republic did not immediately pardon them,

why did he just start a longer pardon process.

As it turned out, Tusk would cooperate with the President of the Republic Andrzej Duda, who is now accusing him of violating the constitution, especially in supporting Ukraine. At the same time, Tusk declared: the president "for eight years tolerated without a word that his former party, Law and Justice (PiS), destroyed the legal order". According to him, PiS

"His abuses at state-owned companies will be exposed in such a way that the hair of everyone who reads them will stand on end."

Tusk was unable to give a straight answer to the question or comment that new TV, radio and news agency managers were appointed illegally, as they bypassed the PiS-majority Media Council.

The company court refused to register the new managers in the first instance!

"If this becomes legally binding, they will look for another solution, but absolutely legally"

came the hazy reply.
