The world star had an unpleasant surprise, and an investigation was even launched against him.

The Guardian writes that Arnold Schwarzenegger got stuck in Munich on Wednesday at airport customs. As it turned out, arriving from America, he did not announce that he had brought an extremely expensive watch into the territory of the European Union: the star was on his way to a ski resort, where the watch would be auctioned at a charity dinner for climate protection purposes.

The 76-year-old Austrian-born world star, actor, bodybuilder and governor was allowed to continue his journey, according to the German customs office, but "the clock will probably have to stop".

An investigation was launched against Schwarzenegger on suspicion of tax evasion, as he wanted to sell the watch within the territory of the European Union, for which he would have had to pay customs duties.

The price of the Audemars Piguet watch, designed especially for Schwarzenegger and advertised with his name, starts at HUF seven million.
