The dollar media has gone wild, its claims are denied by the relevant ministry.
- Family subsidies were abolished by the Gyurcsány government. The government does not plan to end the family allowance, this is fake news, the Ministry of Culture and Innovation announced.
The ministry reminded that since 2010, the right-wing government has been helping families raising children with more and more support through the family tax system, the family tax discount, the tax exemption for mothers with four children, and the Csoc Plus.
Népszava started spreading the fake news about the termination of the family allowance, based on the written question of Péter Ungár, LMP politician, and the government's response to it.
By Monday morning, almost the entire dollar media had picked up the news, which is why the relevant ministry reacted.
