Swedish artists have written an open letter to the Union of European Broadcasters, in which they demand that Israeli artists be banned from the Eurovision Song Contest. The letter was also signed by Greta Thunberg's mother, who has been making anti-Israel statements since the outbreak of the conflict.

V4na.com reported .

"Israel's brutal warfare in the Gaza Strip has destroyed vital civilian infrastructure, created inhumane living conditions and forced 85 percent of the population to flee"

- write the artists who signed the petition with foaming mouth. According to the open letter, the credibility of the European Broadcasting Union, which organizes the annual song contest, would be questioned if it allowed Israel to participate in the contest. Among the signatories of the open letter is Greta Thunberg's mother, Malena Ernman, who has been actively supporting Palestine and inciting against Israel since the outbreak of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

However, the European Broadcasting Union strongly rejected the open letter, saying that Israel had fulfilled all the requirements to participate in the song contest. Since then, it has also been revealed that two Israeli artists are entering the competition.

There was a huge debate on social media about the case. According to the anti-Israeli voices, there is no place for war and hatred at the song festival, only for peace. However, their argument sounds interesting in the light of the fact that they would ban artists out of hatred in the name of peace. The woman in the video below speaks with extreme contradiction that music is about love and therefore Israel should be banned.
