Dorothea Hotel concierge has been enriched with a golden key

Les Clefs d'Or (ie The Golden Keys) is the professional association of hotel concierges. The organization has about four thousand members in more than eighty countries and five hundred and thirty locations, covering all corners of the world.

With roots dating back to 1929, Les Clefs d'Or was officially founded in France in 1952 as a non-profit organization based on two pillars.

These are service and friendship.

Réka Tóth, the concierge of Budapest's newest five-star hotel, the Dorothea Hotel, has just received this recognition.

Professionally, you have to be more than a blade

Before one is awarded the right to wear the Golden Key, the applicant must have several years of hotel concierge experience, pass comprehensive tests and demonstrate beyond doubt that they are capable of providing the highest level of service.

The members of the organization are easily recognizable by their golden, crossed key badges worn in their lapels. The applications received will be judged by the admission committee of Les Clefs d'Or. As a last step, the applicant must participate in an interview, after which a decision is made to grant membership.
