The participation of the Hungarians in the men's Olympics is practically certain due to the excellence of the world champion team, and on Sunday the national team can finalize its place in the five-ring field, reports MTI.

Thanks for the congratulations, I don't miss the successes at all, I hope there will be quite a few more of them. However, I started the day a bit rusty, the young Italian made me sweat. Then, as we went forward, I felt the fencing more and more. In the final four, I already controlled the aces all the way, and of course I am very happy about the gold. At the same time, deep down I felt that I still have something to refine in both defense and attack, there will still be plenty of work to do before the Olympics

- said Áron Szilágyi after winning the gold medal.
