The expectation is to avoid any topics that talk about Polishness and how hard they build their identity, how hard they fight for their Polishness.

Anna Zalewska, a representative of the right-wing Law and Justice (PiS) party, sharply criticized the recently established Donald Tusk government and Brussels bureaucrats in the Telewizja wPolsce program. In his criticism, the politician hinted that Brussels and the Tusk government would change the basic curriculum and remove many elements from it that would slowly kill Polishness from school education.

The representative pointed out that Brussels is planning a large-scale change by 2026 as part of the amendment of the EU treaties in order to unify the core curriculum in the member states.

As Zalewska pointed out, the plan is to build a superficial, like-minded Europe in education, which Donald Tusk and his left-liberal government are helping to create.

The representative of Law and Justice pointed out that the current core curriculum, for which he himself is responsible, dates from 2017.

"It was many months of work and consultation, where more than 144 university experts worked, who guaranteed the knowledge of how to mold a young person, what methods to use. We wanted a modern graduate who could do math and read; who talks about the future, but immerses himself in the past, because he is still proud of his country; who knows foreign languages," explained the politician, who added: "Now the idea is to avoid any topic that is primarily about Polishness and how hard you build an identity, how hard you fight for that Polishness."

In relation to the World Wars, German and Polish history, they would also switch to such formulations in schools, due to which the feeling of Polish patriotism is slowly being killed in children.

According to Anna Zalewska, nothing less is at stake in the upcoming European Parliament elections than the future of Europe itself, the future of the nations. He believed that if this left-liberal majority could not be changed, a completely new world would be created in Brussels.
