The vice-president of the European Parliament, who is extremely hostile to our country, was replaced by an EU commissioner.

There is a very small chance that the European Court of Justice will accept the claim filed by the European Parliament against the Commission, which concerns the decision regarding the 10 billion euro funds released to Hungary, Katarina Barley lamented.

Based on Euractiv's article, the vice president of the EP referred to the opinion of the Belgian commissioner responsible for justice, Didier Reynders, who stated that the Hungarian government had made progress in the disputed cases, and no commissioner objected to the decision.

Last year, Barley published a report on the state of fundamental rights in the European Union, in which he called on the leaders to initiate proceedings against Hungary, as a result of which they could deprive our country of its right to vote.

In addition, he did everything he could to prevent Hungary from receiving the resources due to it, because in his opinion it was a "hasty" decision.

According to the article, Barley admitted with his comment that the EP is unable to influence the Commission's decision.
