János Áder's sister is filing a lawsuit against the politicians of the Democratic Coalition, Erzsébet Gy. Németh Gy., and Klára Dobrev, due to the false statements they made about her in relation to what happened in the children's home in Bicske.

Former President of the Republic János Áder on Friday radio Kossuth Good morning, Hungary! recalled in his program

Gy. Erzsébet Németh accused her sister that in 2011, when she first suspected that the head of the orphanage in Bicske was committing a pedophile act, her sister found out about the case and did nothing. Furthermore, as a reward for his silence, he was promoted and became Secretary of State.

This is a defamatory statement, a lie, without any basis in reality, said the former head of state, stating:

therefore, two lawsuits are filed, for defamation and violation of privacy rights.

János Áder said that the sister of the head of department at the time excused the director from work, initiated disciplinary proceedings and filed a criminal complaint, following which they investigated for 11 months. The court will decide whether the statement that her sister did nothing is true, he added.

The former head of state also said

A photo montage and post appeared on Klára Dobrev's social media page, and she wrote that János Áder's brother is also guilty of the pedophile scandal. "There is no evidence, there is no court verdict, but Klára Dobrev is already announcing a verdict," said János Áder, and then he declared: Klára Dobrev will also have to answer for this defamation before the court.

The former President of the Republic expressed his hope that the members of the Hungarian National Assembly and the European Parliament "will not hide" behind the right of immunity.

Speaking about the power of pardon, János Áder said that such procedures have involved two actors since 1990. "The third actor was not given a card, one actor is the Minister of Justice, and the other actor is the President of the Republic, and the professional teams of both of them," he said. So, as he emphasized, neither another member of the government, nor another minister, nor the prime minister, nor an outside person "were dealt a card".

János Áder said

to see that they want to involve Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in the Bicske pedophile case, but during his ten years as head of state, "it never happened that the prime minister made a request or even asked me a question about any kind of pardon".

There was a case that divided the Fidesz faction, but despite this, there was never any attempt on the part of the representative group, the prime minister, or anyone else, János Áder stated.

To the suggestion that, according to them, the prime minister could not have known about the decision at the time, he said: he cannot know about it, since the prime minister does not have to see the submission of the minister of justice, and according to him, the prime minister at the time "has more minor concerns than dealing with pardon cases". .

János Áder said that the purpose of the pardon procedure is that if family, health, and social facts about the perpetrator come to light that could justify a pardon, then the head of state can consider them and grant him a pardon.

He said that they had to judge 6,210 cases in ten years, and positive decisions were made in 119 cases.

Regarding the public, János Áder said: there must have been tens of thousands of pardon procedures since 1990, in all cases the presidents of the republic up to now had to conduct the same procedure and consider the same aspects. The former head of state said:

would strongly consider changing the entire procedure just because "a wrong or seemingly wrong decision has just been made". After all, we don't know the reasons

he noted.

János Áder emphasized: in the amnesty procedure, it is not decided whether the person is guilty or not guilty, "it is not about another court forum". It is not that the investigative authority, the prosecutor's office, or the court did their work poorly. The decision is about whether or not the offender is entitled to pardon based on human considerations, he explained.
